YaZu Yachting’s August Recap

What a fantastic month we have had at YaZu!

5 Boats went under contract, 7 surveys conducted, 4 NEW listings and 5 closings, including a 2014 Hunter e33, a 2003 Beneteau 393, a 2000 Catalina 36 MK II, a 2004 Beneteau 473, and a 1998 Grand Banks 46!

So as you can see, there are more going out than coming
in!  WE’RE LOOKING FOR NEW LISTINGS!!

Our (almost) new broker Bob Hoefer, is off to a flying start, making local connections & listing boats. Way to go Bob! Check out the 2006 Seahorse 52 – Our newest listing!

Our little town of Deltaville, Virginia certainly has been bustling over the Summer, and we love seeing new faces discovering our town, as well as the familiar faces who have come back to visit over this last couple of months. It’s such a pleasant reminder of why Deltaville is the Boating Capital of the Chesapeake Bay!

We had a great time at the recent community event “Party for the Potty” at the Deltaville Ballpark. The band Sweet Justice rounded off the DCA fundraiser to build new toilets for Deltaville’s historic ballpark.  YaZu Yachting was delighted to contribute to this worthwhile community cause, with a $1,000 donation.

The Deltaville Ballpark has been a community landmark for over 70 years! Constructed in 1948, Deltaville Ballpark is the oldest all-wooden baseball stadium in Virginia. Maintained throughout the decades by the entire community, it continues to serve as a local icon and hosts dozens of events each year.

We look forward to a splendid September, as we head into crisper & cooler days of Fall perfect for cruising the Bay!
