The Corsair 37 is a vessel for anyone who wants the joy of feeling the wind, and the excitement of going fast.  The Corsair is designed for speed and adventure – built for experienced sailors, who want to go anywhere/everywhere.   It has a retractable keel and rudder which allows for performance in deep water and the ability to gunkhole with the board and rudder up. The bowsprit allows for greater sail area, halyards, topping lift and reefing lines are controlled at the mast, with sail handling lines leading to cockpit.  The tiller allows the helmsperson to feel the boat and the wind.

The amas of the Corsair fold up so that the 25’7" beam can be reduced to 9’10" allowing it to be easily trailered and placed in a regular slip. Arrow has a custom trailer.

Arrow had an orange hull, so draws attention wherever she goes. The current owners have done numerous upgrades to make Arrow comfortable for cruising and living aboard.  They have sailed her extensively on the Chesapeake Bay over the past 3 years.

The Corsair has a light and remarkably spacious interior, with windows down the side of the hull.  The aft cabin can be accessed through a large hatch in the floor of the cockpit.  It is a double cabin which the current owners use for storage.

The companionway has 3 removable steps, behind which is access to the aft cabin, an open storage area and a storage compartment below the floor,  which houses the batteries and inverter etc. and has space for other storage

To port is a raised dinette, with a table that drops to form a double berth. Tucked below the forward settee is a front-opening refrigerator and forward of that is the head, with basin, and Airhead composting toilet.

The starboard side of the boat has the galley aft, a single berth forward, with storage below.  The forward cabin has plentiful storage, a V-berth with cut out at the feet for tall people, custom mattress and opening hatch above.
