The Jeanneau 36i was the first of a new generation cruising vessel, the sleek lines and low freeboard make it a head-turner, the beam is carried aft to create a large cockpit with easy access to the water. The interior is light and well appointed, with a 2-cabin, 1-head layout. The head has a separate shower and access to a large ‘garage’ below the port cockpit seats.

Standing headroom in the interior is 6’4″. The galley is to starboard of the companionway stairs, with access to the aft, double berth behind it, under the cockpit.
To port is the head, with separate shower area aft and access to a large, dry, locker/ ‘garage’ which extends under the port side of the cockpit.
Forward of the head is the nav station, with a seat fixed seat against the bulkhead, as settee forward and a sliding chart table that can be against the bulkhead, or forward to serve as a traditional style chart table. A filler seat can be installed to extend the settee and create a single berth.
To starboard is the U-shaped dinette with a table that can be lowered to form a double berth by swopping out the leg and installing a filler cushion.
The V-berth is large and has an inner spring mattress, large overhead hatch and storage lockers on either side of the cabin.
