THIS BOAT IS PRISTINE. LOOKS LIKE ITS NEVER BEEN SLEPT ABOARD. SMELLS LIKE NEW.

Since 1971, Najad has been building ocean-going yachts, on the Island of Orust in Sweden.  So the long-standing tradition of Scandanavian boat-building carries through to their designs, with sleek lines and optimal performance.

Cuccinella (Ladybird) is a VERY fine example of the Najad 332, a superb “pocket” cruiser.

Access is easy from the step transom into a deep, comfortable cockpit.  Teak decks are in good condition. The coach-roof  has large hatches and numerous opening port-lights for light and ventilation.  The boat is sloop-rigged with in-mast furling for uncomplicated sail-handling with all lines led aft to the cockpit. Primary and secondary winches are on the coaming, within easy reach of the helm.  The interior has 2 cabins & 1 head and is a comfortable living space with plentiful storage.

Cuccinella features the following:

  • 15kg Stainless Steel Bruce anchor with 130′ chain
  • Lofrans Electric Windlass
  • Bowthruster
  • Volvo 28 hp with just over 300 hours
  • Volvo saildrive

Accommodations

Honey colored wood gives warmth and lustre to the interior.  Galley is to port with door to the aft cabin behind it.  Aft cabin has a large double berth and storage down the hull side as well as a full locker near the door.

To starboard is the head and forward of that is the self-contained Nav Station which faces forward.  It has a large chart table with storage below.

The salon has a table mid-ships with leaves that fold down when not in use.  Straight settees on either side have backs which fold up to increase the size of the bunk for extra crew. Tanks are below the settees and there is storage behind and above.

The V-berth is comfortable with lockers lining the hull sides, just below the headliner.  A hanging locker and standing locker with shelves are to port and starboard at the aft end of the cabin. A large overhead hatch provides light and ventilation.
