“Magic Inspiration” is a rare offering of the popular Fountaine Pajot 46 Bahia.  She is 4 cabin, 4 head vessel, with significant recent upgrades. The vessel has been prepared for extended cruising anywhere in the world. Magic Inspiration had a major refit in 2016 – 2018  and the current owners have continued that trend, preparing for cruising in the Pacific.  Consequently, they have made sure that the systems and structure are in excellent condition and all upgrades, including compete engine repowers in 2021/2, have been undertaken to the highest standards by some of the best technicians and boatyards in the Marine industry! Their plans have changed, so you benefit from their high-caliber upgrades.

The Bahia is a specially designed series created by the famed Joubert-Nivelt team for Fountaine Pajot. It was a series built to the highest ISO 9002 European standard for offshore yachts, incorporating vacuum-bagging construction and hand lay-up, with high strength resins, resulting in an extremely high strength-to-weight ratio, while maintaining tremendous abuse strength.

It has a sleek and low-profile design, with wide side decks, an expansive foredeck, and enclosed cockpit with helm station against the bulkhead, for greater safety under way. The comfortable enclosed cockpit is also a huge plus for sailors with small children on board, as it provides a safe space with “walls”. In addition, at sea in rough conditions the crew feels protected with lots of areas to brace or used as handholds. The  Bahia model is also known for its sailing performance and regularly outperforms similar sized cruising cats.

The modern interior has excellent storage, ventilation (17 hatches and portlights through the boat) and systems which are easily accessible.

This vessel is presented for sale in pristine condition and is as clean as one could wish for a vessel of its age. She is “ready to go”, for extended voyaging.
