Caprica is an rare offering of a 3-cabin, 2-head Beneteau 423. The 423 is a really fantastic cruising vessel. It ‘lives well’ and sails well, so you have the best of all worlds. It is a good size for a couple or for a family. The current owners have cruised to Maine and Block Island in the summers and lived aboard with their 2 small children, so it is very well equipped and ready to take the next owners cruising soon.
The spacious cockpit, access to the water through the walk-through transom, wide swim platform make this a perfect cruising boat. The 3-cabin configuration has a lateral galley to port with large dinette to starboard. The two, double aft cabins provide plenty of space for children or guests. Caprica has the cherry wood interior which contrasts with the white upholstery to create a traditional feel, but with LOTS of light which comes through the fixed windows as well as hatches and portlights. The boat is well ventilated – another important factor when cruising.

Cherry wood below with white upholstered cushions create a traditional feel. Fixed window above the forward salon and long side windows as well as fixed portlights in the hull and overhead opening hatches provide a lot of light.
The companionway leads directly into the salon, with the chart table to starboard and the aft head to port. The aft cabins are identical sized/mirror images of each other, with double bunk, storage shelves and hanging locker, shelf down the hull. The port cabin has access from the cabin directly into the aft head. The head can also be accessed from the salon.
Forward of the head is the linear galley with fridge/freezer, microwave, stove, sink and storage. To starboard is the dinette with a midships bench seat that has storage beneath and a solid back which can be used as a brace for the cook. The settee is C-shaped around a table that can be lowered to form a double berth. There is storage above and below the settee.
The forward cabin has a centerline queen berth that can be accessed from each side. Storage port and starboard and in drawers beneath the berth as well as a seat on each side and shelves along the hull. Two opening hatches provide ventilation. To starboard is the forward head which has a separate shower stall.
