“Tempest” stands out from all other Caliber 40 LRC’s.   The current owners have undertaken an extensive re-furbishment over the past 18 months, so you can go cruising. All the big ticket items have been taken care of, so you can stay out of the Boatyard and do what boat owners are meant to do – go sailing!

The interior of Tempest has been meticulously updated with a modern aesthetic. A color consultant was hired to give this Caliber a sophisticated look, yet also provide a relaxing calm space after a day in the sun. To complement this look, new state of the art appliances (see Galley), new LED Lighting, plumbing, fixtures, upholstery, custom Corian countertop, and cabinet hardware have been added.

The exterior is user & cruiser friendly. The Atlantic Tower Solar and Davit system and the bimini support 1000 watts of solar as well as  the wind generator, which feed the lithium batteries.  This creates and stores enough energy to run electrical appliances – no more propane, noisy generator or engine needed!

New standing rigging, Chartplotter & Radar in 2021, 73 lb ROCNA Anchor w/ new chain, rebuilt Engine & Transmission (2023) and a host of other upgrades, give the crew peace  of mind while under way or at anchor, while the NEW Highfield Dinghy and Suzuki 15hp outboard will get you to and from the shore with speed and comfort.
