The Beneteau 393 is one of Beneteau’s most popular cruising boats.  Phase II is the 2-cabin, 2-head version of this model, with the credenza down the starboard side of the salon, giving phenomenal storage.
Phase II is set up for extended cruising – her owners were preparing to go to the Bahamas for the winter of 2021/2, when a change of circumstances disrupted their plans, so she was hauled for the winter and launched again in April. It’s loaded with spare parts and cruising gear and is ready to go….. This boat has been extremely well maintained and cruised the Chesapeake Bay, ICW, Florida Keys & Bahamas, proving her worth as a desirable off-shore vessel.

The Beneteau 393 is light on the helm and easy to manoeuver.  It handles well in light or heavy weather. It has a  large cockpit, with easy access to the water and wide side decks for easy access to the bow.  Inmast furling and furling genoa allow all sail handling from the cockpit.  The interior is extremely comfortable and the combination of cherry wood and lots of light, gives at traditional feel, with a lot more light and ventilation!

Phase II has had numerous upgrades with cruising in mind:

Full enclosure, with sunscreens (2018)
Custom Arch w/ light and mounts for:
Air Breeze Wind Generator (hinged)
Kyocera Solar Panels &
Garmin Radar (hinged).
Garmin GPSMap840xs at helm & nav station
Frigoboat refrigerator/freezer (upgraded 2013)
Force 10 2-burner stove w/ oven & broiler (2019)
Deck Hatches replaced (2018)
New mainsail (2018)
New interior upholstery (2018)
Autopilot
ROCNA 55 Anchor w/ 300′ chain
LED interior lights

Accommodations

The large, U-shaped galley is to port. It has a large amount of storage space and extensive work surface. The fridge and freezer are in the area against the aft bulkhead. Stove and storage are against the hull and the double s/s sinks run athwartships, separating galley and salon area.

The spacious aft cabin is to starboard under the cockpit and it has 2 opening ports as well as good closet storage space.

The aft head is on the starboard side, forward of which is the nav table and forward of that is a credenza which provides excellent storage. The port side of the salon houses the comfortable u-shaped settee and dining table with a bench amidships. The table can be lowered to form a third double berth. So the boat can sleep 6.

The forward cabin has a Pullman style berth to port, with a bench and storage space to starboard. The second head is in the bow.
