This 43′ Shannon 43 is located in Deltaville, VA. With lovely lines which catch the eye, a deep, spacious cockpit and stunning interior, this boat is ideally laid out for cruising with the galley, nav station, aft cabin and head close to the companionway. The ketch rig allows for a versatile sail plan and the centerboard (4’9″up and 8’7″down) allows the boat to be sailed efficiently on ocean passages as well as being able to gunkhole in shallow waters. Deep Peace has done what she was designed for – her previous owners sailed her along the East Coast of the US and then into the Caribbean where she spent a number of years before being shipped back to the US. The current owners (the third owners) have owned her for 3 years and during that time have cruised from Maine to Key West. She is currently on the hard in Deltaville, VA.

To port of the companionway is a bulkhead with doors to the aft cabin (double bunk & lots of storage) and aft cabin. To starboard is the aft facing nav desk with pivoting arm chair.
The galley is U-shaped and runs along the starboard hull.
Forward of the galley is a U-shaped seating area with a storage bin that doubles as a coffee table on the floor. To port is a straight settee – lots of storage above & below the seating areas.
The forward cabin has storage along the port hull with a basin/vanity between the storage cabinets. A V-berth provides sleeping accommodation and to starboard is a head with separate shower stall.
