Bodacious Too is a 2-cabin, 1 head, Farr designed, Beneteau First 36s7. The boat is currently on the hard in Deltaville, VA. The current owners took possession of her in 2004 and have sailed Bodacious Too on the Chesapeake Bay ever since, hence the low engine hours.
This boat is a fantastic platform for anyone looking for a starter boat or a round the cans racing boat. Bodacious Too has the DNA of all Farr-designed boats, fine lines, fantastic performance and rearing to go.
She has a Classic Mainsail in good condition; a 130% Latell Sails Genoa that was built in 2016 and has hardly been used; a couple of spinnakers add to the sail inventory. It has been hauled, engine serviced and bottom painted annually.
Some elbow grease will be required to make Bodacious Too live up to her name, but you can go sailing the moment you take ownership.
The interior is the classic Beneteau First series interior of the late ’80’s and the 90’s. Surfaces in galley and the chart table have rounded ends, with rounded cabinets cabinets below. The head (starboard aft) has an elegant basin on a stem with glass counter alongside, storage cabinets above and a head which has a seat that can fold down to protect it when the shower is in use.
Forward of the head is the chart table with storage below the counter as well as next-to and below the seat. Electrical panels, battery monitor, VHF and stereo are in cabinets along the hull
The galley is to port with cooktop, microwave and sinks as well as good storage. The aft cabin, with double berth and storage is behind the galley.
The salon has 2 straight settees, which can double as berths, with a centerline table that has leaves which fold up to form a large dining table.
The V-berth is in the bow, with a large hatch above that provides excellent light and ventilation.
