The Island Packet 31 is a roomy 31 footer. It feels like a whole lot more boat and lives like a whole lot more boat! Ideal as a family starter boat or a pocket cruiser for a couple, it is sea-kindly, thanks to the full keel and wide beam. The deep, spacious cockpit and wide side decks make it safe at sea. The interior is well appointed, with the traditional IP fold-up table tucked against the forward bulkhead, it feels expansive. The quarter berth can be partitioned from the main salon allowing the occupant some privacy.

The galley is to port of the companionway, with a spacious quarter berth to starboard. The quarter berth has battery storage beneath and is separated from the salon by a low bulkhead which has a fold down desk/nav table that can also fold up to form a full height partition.
The salon consists of 2 settees with storage behind & below. On the starboard forward bulkhead is the salon table, behind which are shelves. The table folds down to create a dining table that can also fold out to reach the port settee.
Port forward is a hanging locker opposite the head. The head has 2 doors, so can be accessed from the salon or the V-berth. The V-berth is comfortable and has storage to port, and below the bunks. A large hatch provides light and ventilation.
