The Gulfstar 44 is a spacious and sturdy center cockpit cruiser.  Built in an era when fiberglass boats were inches thick in places, this heavy displacement cruiser combines space with comfort under way.
Sea Fox has been with its current owners for 20 years and they have done several trips to the Bahamas together.  Sea Fox has been lovingly maintained and shows like a much younger boat. The owners have added several convenient features which make living aboard comfortable. The interior woodwork is oiled and the boat is clean and tidy.  The aft cabin has a custom layout, with Pullman-style bunk, a curved settee and extensive storage.

Sea Fox has the following equipment:

Inmast furling mainsail

Davits

2017 Highfield Aluminum floor dinghy

LEHR 5HP propane outboard motor

Ideal Electric Windlass

Full Enclosure

Perkins 4-154 62HP Engine

Powermax 125A Alternator

1200W Inverter

CruiseAir Aircon units (2 – reverse cycle)

Standing Rigging replaced 2011

New mast for inmast furling in 2011

Bottom stripped and barrier coated in 2011

Bottom painted 7/23

If you are looking for a solid, well maintained Center Cockpit Cruising vessel, make an appointment to come and view SEA FOX.

Accommodations

Below decks the Gulfstar is spacious with white cabin top which offsets the beautiful, oiled teak cabinetry and bulkheads. The Galley is tucked away to port, allowing the cook to be out of the way when preparing meals.  To starboard of the companionway is the comfortable Nav Station with full sized chart table.

Behind the Nav Station is the walkthrough to the aft cabin.  Closed storage cabinets can be found on the outboard side and access to the engine room amidships.  The engine room is large, making it easy to work in the space and it has place for a generator forward of the engine.

The aft cabin has a customized arrangement, with cabinets on the starboard side, behind the door and a curved settee (with more storage) aft of the cabinets, curving towards the middle of the cabin. The double berth is a pullman-style berth in the port, aft corner of the cabin.  The head, with separate shower is port, forward. The back of the storage cabinet, forward/midships, can be removed to allow access to the back of the engine room.

The salon has an L-shaped settee to port and a straight settee to starboard. Both have storage behind and below.  The table is mid-ships with large leaves that fold up, extending to each settee so that 6 people can be accommodated for dining. There are storage cabinets forward of the starboard settee, with a TV on a pivoting arm on the bulkhead.

The forward head is to port, accessed from the salon. The V-berth has a large bunk, with hanging lockers on the starboard side and shelves to port and below the bunk. Special straps, for storing the full enclosure, have been mounted on each side.  Access to the anchor locker in the bow and a large hatch above for light and ventilation.
