Classic Tartan! In excellent condition. The current owners have not only cruised her extensively, they have maintained and upgraded almost everything. You will be hard-pressed to find a Tartan 37 of this age, in this condition. Climb aboard and go sailing.
The Tartan 37 is a Sparkman & Stephens design, built to sail fast and in comfort. The centerboard allows the boat to point well when down and gunkhole when up. The wide side decks and comfortable cockpit allow the crew to move about the boat easily. The interior is extremely ‘liveable’ as the owners can attest to, having taken the boat on lengthy trips to Florida, Bahamas and up to Maine.
Upgrades include:
Yanmar 39HP engine (2016) w/ 684 hours
Gori Folding propeller (2016)
New standing rigging (2015)
Spectra Watermaker (2015)
Dodger, bimini, connector & full enclosure
D400 Wind Generator (2015)
Davits & outboard motor lift
Bottom peeled & epoxy coated (2018)
Full Raymarine Electronics package (2014)
Solar panels (2015)
Refrigeration installed
…. and a lot more.
Don’t delay in making an appointment to see Glorious. She’s going to attract a good deal of attention!
The interior of this boat is in lovely condition with the warm, teak cabinetry contrasting with the white upholstery. In 2014 the headliner was replaced and interior cushions were replaced as well.
The galley is to starboard as you enter the boat, with large double sink, stove, refrigeration and plentiful storage.
The full-size chart table and quarterberth are to port. The chart table seat can be raised to extend the width of the quarterberth. Batteries are stored below the seat, electrical panel to port.
The salon consists of 2 settees with cave lockers behind. On the starboard side a pilot berth above the settee can be used for a crew member or for storage. To port is an L-shaped settee, with storage below, behind and against the hull. The table, which is stowed up against the forward bulkhead, can be lowered for eating or to create a double berth.
The head is forward, port side with storage lockers to starboard. The V-berth has storage, port and starboard, and below (the watermaker is below the bunk). At the base of the bunk is access to the chain locker and a hatch overhead provides light and ventilation.
